🌟 Day-to-day Living

Is there extra storage space available on-site?

On-site storage is quite limited, so we are not able to store personal belongings for residents.

Are pets allowed?

+

We love animals, but pets are not permitted inside any of our residences.

Is there a mail and parcel service?

+

Yes. We accept your mail and parcels during opening hours and keep them safe until you collect them. Please pick them up within a week, as space is limited.

Who cleans the common areas?

+

Our housekeeping team cleans all shared spaces daily, including hallways, lifts, gym, and reception.

Who is responsible for cleaning my room?

+

You are responsible for keeping your own studio tidy. If you need help, cleaning services can be booked through the Residents Portal.

Can I smoke in my room or on the balcony?

+

No. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire residence, including all balconies. Fines apply for violations.

What are the front desk opening hours?

+

Opening hours vary by location, but most front desks are open Monday to Friday during standard office hours.

How is my safety ensured?

+

Your safety is a priority. Each location has a dedicated security team, electronic door entry, intercoms, and CCTV cameras.

Can friends or family stay overnight?

+

Guests are welcome, but overnight stays require written permission in advance. Only one overnight guest is allowed at a time, for up to 3 consecutive nights, no more than twice per month.

How do I report a maintenance issue?

Submit a request through the Residents Portal. For emergencies, contact the on-site team at reception or by email.

What is the Residents Portal?

+

The Residents Portal is your online account where you can view statements, report maintenance, book cleaning, access your lease, and check inventory.

📦 Moving In

Can I have post delivered before I move in?

+

Yes, you can send post to the residence within 14 days of your arrival. Please do not send food, books, furniture, or bulky parcels.

Can I change my room after check-in?

+

We will try to accommodate room changes subject to availability. Different rooms may have different rates, so your rent may change.

What do I need to bring?

+

Just your personal belongings. Your room is fully furnished, so bring bedding, towels, kitchen utensils, and an Ethernet cable. You can also order an arrival pack.

Can I move in if I have not paid the first instalment?

+

No. You must pay the first instalment before you arrive. If payment is not made on time, your booking may be cancelled.

Can I move in before my tenancy start date?

+

Standard tenancy dates are fixed. If you need to arrive earlier, you may be able to book a short-stay tenancy, subject to availability.

When can I move in?

+

You can check in on the first day of your lease if an appointment slot is available. Check-ins are available Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.

🚪 Moving Out

Can I leave my belongings if I rebook for next year?

+

Yes, if you have a valid tenancy for the same room. Please remove all rubbish and clean the room before leaving.

When will I get my deposit back?

+

Provided there are no damages and all terms are met, your deposit will be refunded within 25 working days after check-out.

Can I repair damage myself?

+

No. For health and safety reasons, all repairs must be carried out by our maintenance team.

What is the latest time I can check out?

+

The latest check-out is 12:00 pm on the last day of your lease. Check-out inspections are Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.

What should I do before checking out?

+

Book your check-out inspection in advance, pack all your belongings, throw away rubbish, and clean all surfaces thoroughly.

🏋️ Property Facilities

Where can I park my bike?

+

Secure bike racks are available on the ground floor of each property.

Can I park a car on-site?

+

Yes. We have car parks at all our developments. Residents can request a parking space during booking for a reduced yearly fee.

Are there laundry facilities?

+

Yes. Each property has a coin-operated laundry room open 24 hours. Washing starts at €4.00 and drying at €1.20 per 20 minutes. Detergent and softener are included.

Is there a gym?

+

Yes. All our properties have a free in-house fitness centre. Contact the front desk for information about the Gym Card.

💳 Rent & Payment

Why do you need my father's details?

+

We collect your father's contact details as your family reference and rent backup while you stay with us.

What happens if I miss a rent payment?

+

If you are unable to pay on time, please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to arrange a delayed payment.

How can I pay my rent?

+

You can pay by bank transfer, cash, or bank cheque at reception. Include your name and room number as reference.

Is there a discount for paying in advance?

+

Yes. You can receive discounted rates if you pay the annual rent in 1 or 2 instalments.

What do I have to pay when booking?

+

When booking, you pay a reservation fee and any extras you select. Payment is made through our secure payment server or on-site.

What is not included in my rent?

+

Laundry, car parking, vending machine items, room cleaning, and items such as bedding, towels, and kitchen utensils.

What is included in my rent?

+

Electricity, gas, water, high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, cable TV, communal expenses, council tax, use of common areas, CCTV, maintenance, and front-office support.

How much is the rent?

Rent varies by room type. Please visit our Rooms page for current pricing.

📋 Reservations

What happens if I cancel my reservation?

+

The reservation deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. If you have already signed a lease and then terminate early, you must pay all outstanding rent for the full tenancy period.

Can I view the studios before booking?

+

Yes. We offer in-person tours and video-call tours. Book a viewing by phone or email.

What documents do I need to submit?

+

You will need a copy of your ID or passport, student card or enrolment letter, a utility bill as proof of address, and your father's ID and proof of address.

How far in advance should I book?

+

We recommend booking as soon as your university place is confirmed. Your place is guaranteed only after we receive your documents, deposit, and offer of accommodation.

How do I make a booking?

+

Select your location and room online, provide your details, create an account, and pay the deposit. You can also book by phone, email, or in person.

Who can stay at UniHome?

+

UniHome is open to students from any university and any country. If you are 16 or older and enrolled at an educational institution, you can apply.

🛏️ Room Facilities

Can I bring extra electrical appliances?

+

It depends on the device. High-voltage items such as portable heaters or microwaves require approval. Please ask the on-site team first.

Can I redecorate my room?

+

You can add personal touches, but permanent changes require permission. Please leave the room in the same condition as you found it.

What size is the bed?

+

Most single studios have a bed measuring 140 cm x 200 cm.

Do I need to bring my own cookware?

+

Yes, you should bring your own saucepans, cutlery, plates, and mugs. Alternatively, you can order an arrival pack.

Is bedding included?

+

No, bedding is not included because preferences vary. You can order a bedding set in advance as part of an arrival pack.

What is included in my room?

+

All studios include a kitchenette with fridge, freezer, cooker, and hob, a private bathroom, a large desk and chair, a double bed, storage, and a 32" TV.
